Kira Padfield

I was born and raised in Tempe Arizona and have lived here the majority of my life. I am a military wife, and lived in Anchorage Alaska as well as Las Vegas Nevada before coming back home to settle down. I am happily married and have an almost 3 year old little girl and two amazing pups.

I began my dental journey in 2016 as a front desk receptionist and instantly knew that this was the field that I wanted to pursue a career in. I currently am a dental treatment coordinator and love every minute of it. I enjoy working in the dental field for many reasons, mainly I love seeing the transformation of the patient’s confidence as they finish their treatment or how they feel after a routine cleaning. I am currently finishing my prerequisites to become a dental hygienist to progress in the dental field.

In my spare time I love to travel, find new restaurants to try, and binge watch TV shows.

Darlene Scott

I have been working in Dentistry for the last 20 years as a dental assistant. I am Navajo and grew up on the reservation but in high school, I got the opportunity to go to school off the reservation and that’s when I first got exposed to dentistry. I went to dental assisting school and have been working in the field ever since. My favorite part about being a dental assistant is taking care of patients and getting to know them. I like developing relationships and feeling like we are taking care of our community like our own family. I also love the technical aspects of dentistry and using my hand skills to do great work for my patients.

I live with my son and in my spare time, I enjoy hiking and working out. I also enjoy watching lifetime, scary movies and crime/forensic shows.

One thing on her bucket list: I would love to visit the Polynesian Islands

Kiran Maini

My name is Kiran and I’m a DA here at PPFD! I’m originally from Washington state and moved to the valley in 2018. I’m a recent ASU grad with my B.S. in Biomedical Science (go sun devils!), and I’m in the midst of applying to dental school. I aspire to one day be as great of a dentist as the doctors currently working in our office. They are all amazing teachers and I’m learning a lot before I venture onto my journey in dentistry!

In my free time I enjoy being outside to enjoy the AZ sunshine, trying new restaurants, and working out! I also am getting married in 2023 and have been busy planning away, but am very very excited.

Verenize “Vee” Herrera

I was born and raised in Phoenix Arizona and have recently begun my journey as a dental assistant. What I love about my career is connecting with patients and learning about the advancements in technology in dentistry. My long-term goal in dentistry is to become a Dental Hygienist and intended to volunteer at community care centers in my spare time.

In my free time I love to workout and spend my time with friends and family, learn new skills and read books based on personal development, financial literacy and psychology. When I am not doing that I enjoy taking my dog Nora, an American Bully, on walks.

Amy Gounaris

Working at Pinnacle Peak Family Dentistry is a perfect fit because the doctors and I believe in always putting patient’s comfort and concerns first. We want to make every dental visit the very best experience possible, by answering any questions and providing quality care in a comfortable environment.

In my spare time, I enjoy Cardinals football, reading, hiking and cooking. I am happily married with two adult children and one “fur-baby” who is a slightly spoiled Corgi rescue dog.

Kelda Hernandez

I’m originally from Yuma, Arizona. I began my dentistry career about eight years ago. I was a dental assistant first before pursuing my career as a dental hygienist at Mohave Community College. One of my favorite things about being a dental hygienist has been allowing me to help other people by providing excellent patient care, educating and guiding them in achieving that goal of a beautiful and healthy smile. While working in dentistry, I have always looked for a place where we share the same vision and goals. Pinnacle Peak Family Dentistry is that place that will help me continue achieving that goal for all my patients. I am happy to be part of a team where we work together and genuinely care for our patients. Keeping up with our education and learning the newest technology help us to provide the best quality care and experience on every appointment, sharing that knowledge and tools with our patients to help them succeed in their oral health.

To balance my life, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and my beautiful dogs. I like to do any outdoor activities, traveling, going to the movies, working out, dancing, laughing, and doing any arts and craft activities.

Allyson Imbrone

As a dental hygienist, I love being able to provide personalized patient care and education. With dental hygiene being one of the healthcare careers rooted in prevention, I’m awarded the unique opportunity to connect with patients individually, and provide treatment and education specifically designed to meet their oral healthcare needs, ensuring they keep their happy, healthy, smiles for many years to come. I enjoy a career that is so varied, from giving oral health talks to kindergarten classes, all the way to educating patients on proper denture care. The mouth is connected to our overall health in such a way that modern medicine is only beginning to fully understand, and I’m here to help you understand it better too. I’m so happy to have found PPFD and a whole team of colleagues that embrace such a family atmosphere.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, I have two little boys at home (ages 8 and 3) who keep me very busy and active. We recently just moved to the area from Fargo, ND, and we’re excited to grow our roots here in the beautiful desert.
